A Christian can never focus too much on Jesus. This complaint could be a statement of curiosity, or even thirst to hear more. What’s important is to have a conversation with the individual on where he/she is coming with that statement and keep engaging with him/her. Jesus did not reject the nay-sayers, altho’ he did command Satan to get behind him.
Kate, I agree “A Christian CAN NEVER focus too much on Jesus.”
I am not sure how to respond to the rest of your comment or if your even looking for a response. This was meant only as a bit of humor, because I know clergy who feel the same way.
