Today we had the chance to play in the Kern River. We kept the children in life jackets because there was a current, and they had a great time. Jon, Dave and I all jumped off a 10 foot rock into the river, I will post the photos on Tuesday. Here are photos of the aftermath.
Today is our first full day at lake Isabella. The wind is blowing and it is about 100 degrees outside. The children really enjoy camping, we let them get filthy, and they get to play with sticks and rocks–what could be better? Here is a photo of the lake from our campsite.
